The famous Bauhaus designer Eero Saarinen, who was known experimenting with new, unusual shapes, designed in 1956 this wonderfull table . The trumpet-shaped base and the matching oval-shaped upper surface of Carrara marble gives the work special Balanc and a slim profile. The table radiates an immense elegance.
Eero Saarinen designed tables and chairs, which recalls the shape of a tulip. Originally should be used plastic but in the 50s, this was not so easy and the base was made of painted cast aluminum.
