The Egg Chair was designed in 1958 by the Bauhaus designer Arne Jacobsen for the interior design of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The elegantly curved classic by the famous Danish architect and designer is extravagant and yet comfortable. The curvy plastic swing seat is based on swiveling aluminum star base, upholstered with high quality leather or fabric. It is very popular in the hotel lobby and in bars and became one of the most famous pieces by Arne Jacobsen due to its film and television appearances.
